Cannabis Consumption Lounges

 

In today’s modern world, cannabis has mostly moved in to the “no longer taboo” category. A person could be surprised by just who chooses to partake in the utilization of cannabis. Everyone from star and Olympic athletes, to celebrities and artists/performers, to the little old man next door who uses cannabis in his own way simply so he can water his flower garden. No one is immune to the charms of Mary Jane. There is just a plethora of possibilities with this plant. 

We, all of us, consumers from all walks of life, high and low, on occasion want to be sociable, and smoke somewhere additional instead of just at home or at their friend’s place. That’s where coffee shops, as they are sometimes called, come in quite handy. Unfortunately for a while, the only options were across that big blue ocean In Amsterdam. All of those places like Abraxas, Prix d’Ami, the grasshopper, Ibiza, and Barney’s provide such a dreamy atmosphere and experience as well. 

But where are the places like that here you may ask?

Thankfully the trend is spreading, and more than just Europe is realizing the benefits of this plant, as aplenty as they are. The US, along with many other countries, has become increasingly tolerant, and Americans are realizing more and more that cannabis is not the terrible life ending drug it was once painted to be. 

Consumption lounges, aka American coffee shops, are beginning to come to life and pop up everywhere, eager to gain and serve customers and hopefully to provide one heck of an elevated atmosphere. There are quite so many elements to setting up one of these lounges. However, just imagine this: you get off work, it’s been a rough day, your boss doesn’t care if you smoke, just be responsible he says. 5:00 rolls around, you are clocked out and headed home to pick up the SO and you are headed to one of these lounges to unwind, and have an experience like you can’t have at home. 

A friend of Mrs. Scunk’s was quoted as saying, “It’s nice to have a place, similar to what a bar could be considered, but for this community right here, the stoners. If you want a drink and a good time, find a nice local pub. However finding a good consumption lounge where we can smoke is a bit different. It’s awesome we have the option now.” Could not agree more friend. 

In conclusion, hopefully in your city, or one very near to you, there’s a place like this that exists. If they are anything like the places in Amsterdam, they will be well worth it to go see what they are about. In this Scunk’s town, we happen to have one that popped up and is the new place to be.
